How can you be sure of these afterlife experiences?

@reasoning logic,
I happened to cut neighbors lawns, and do leaf work, and gardening, and snow shoveling...

Now that you mention it I did the same but no snow, I did not receive a paycheck from a business but rather a very small amount of cash from a home owner.

If you are a Creationist...I would say it comes with believing in God, and your purpose reciprocated...and believing you will experience an afterlife...Are you asking me how can I be sure of others personal afterlife experiences? They could be apart of your own no?

@reasoning logic,
I do what you could call "charity work. "

I send out emails telling people about this $5,000,000 account that I have in a Kenyan bank...and about the difficulty I am having getting the money released. I even give the people to whom I write an opportunity to cash in on my dilemma, by cutting them in for half the $5,000,000 if they will send me the funds necessary to secure the release. For only $5,000, they can get a return of $250,000.

Hey...it's a living.

If you know anyone who would help me with the release deposit...I actually have several $5,000,000 accounts I would love to get released...and I am very generous in sharing with anyone who will help me out.

I have a proven tract record of releasing funds caught up in litigation, If you will send me a small deposit of $10,000 I am sure I can be an assistance to you. Wink

reasoning logic, asked, "How can you be sure of these afterlife experiences?"

SpadeMaster replied:

Imagine that answer if it had read, "I would say it comes with blindly guessing there is a God..."

That is why I advocate for using "believe" as little as possible...especially when talking about speculation about REALIT Y.

Newspaper subscriptions. Can you believe it? OK, here's a secret if you need a job and don't mind gabbing with folks. Every paper needs subscriptions to stay alive in this market, what with competition from every sort of electronic medium. And advertisers still pay top dollar for folks who can get hard copy into the hands of buyers. If you write the right kind of orders, the publisher will pay commissions equal to or in excess of the subscription cost. When I got good at it, I could make $100+ per hour. Gads, it was fun! I'd walk parade routes before the parade, and pitch folks in groups as they waited on the sidewalk. I had a few worn out one liners that I worked over and over.

Amazing... Thanks, you made my day.

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
That was funny I liked the under cutters pizza service.

On a more realistic note what do you think about consciousness?

@reasoning logic,
Door to door sales does not allow for as much creativity or showmanship. Don't mind door to door for the serious things, though.

I was 13 years old so I did it the way I was told to do it. You were an adult so you were more creative in your quest for sales.

Can't open it... Sad probably the NSA buggering off with Youtube again. And Boston can testify how well their up-the-whole-world's-ass PRISM system works...

@reasoning logic,
Okay, seen it. Complete loss of time. One optical illusion after another showing what? That our mind processes informations and interprets them imperfectly. So?

Are you suggesting that your mind processes all information and interprets it imperfectly "or are you suggesting that the information processed about the existence of a god is an exception to this rule?

@reasoning logic,
All information gets processed imperfectly. Nobody's perfect. The problem is not whether we're omniscient or even logical through and through. The problem is: how, in spite of our numerous imperfections, we can still create a stream of mental images, sounds, and thoughts, AND be conscient of some of these.
