@reasoning logic,
OK...I will be specific...What ever someone subjectively believes is not mine...Whatever someone subjectively rejects, is no ones...not even theirs...unless they can explain how what they subjectively reject, is not because they subjectively believe they reject it...

@Olivier5,
Another point: one can find in the Talmud -- not where the good rabbis mentions Jesus -- quite a number of parallels with the Gospels, and not based on the OT either. Yet the Gospel writers most probably never ever read the Talmud, and the writers of the Talmuds were forbidden to read the Gospels... So where do these parallels come from? The simplest explanation is that they both borrowed from a common source: Jewish tradition.

Even the very large number of gospels and the rapid rise of the Church shows that there was some sort of original phenomenum that sent all this in motion. It seems reasonnable to believe there was such a guy.

OK and you agree that Mohammad was a messenger of God as well being he fits into your category?

You do know that his work has been altered don't you? Maybe you will have an interest in the therapeutae and maybe you will not.

You do realize you are contributing to the alterations don't you? How do you know that the therapeutae did not alter Jesus' works as well?

Is this your subjective belief that makes "your world" as you see it or is this how the rest of the world sees it as well?

You are being silly aren't you? You have not even read what has been written of them or you would realize that they never mentioned Jesus.

Why would they have to? You just said that Oliver is contributing to the alterations, and then claimed that Oliver should read what the therapeutae had said...

How would Oliver reading what the theraputae had said alter whether or not Oliver or anyone else thinks someone had altered Jesus' works or not?

Nothing silly about that at all...

If someone has a subjective opinion it is their opinion even if it was influenced by sociological currents.
Even tho we are all subjected to these currents none of us agree on all issues, That is why I say we all live in our own world.

If you have an interest I would recommend that you dig deeper than I have because I am the least among those who try and find the truth.

I shared the therapeutae with you, now I would like to dig a little deeper into their source.

Thank you...this is all I needed to hear you say...everything is subjective...(beliefs, rejections, doubts) nothing is universal...(God, proof, evidence)

I do but that doesn't mean the original text was very different.

Not exactly Spades, I think it is a universal understanding that Spades does not like to have a base ball bat rammed up his ass but if you think you have evidence that there may be others that would enjoy such an event would you please share?

That's not the point. Do you think Mohammad never existed? Cause that's what we discussing for Jesus, no his true prophet or messiah status.

Unlike Jesus there is plenty of proof that Mohammad was a real person.

There are plenty of proof for many people existing long before Jesus and after Jesus such as Mohammad that does not happen to exist for a Jesus.
