I have Microsoft WORD, but not Microsoft Office. I would like to convert a single WORD document into PDF. I have been told that I must download the "PDF package." I checked at the Adobe site, and there was a monthly payment, and an annual payment. All I want to do is pay once for the conversion of this one document. Is there any way to convert one document for one price?
@Woollcott,
Not for one use. Why not go to a copy center and they'll do it for you cheaply.
You don't have to pay for that.
I use DoPDF, a free software that is very easy to use.
Browse the internet, find it, download it, follow the instructions..
You are done in a matter of a few minutes..
@Woollcott,
I had some kind of download from MicroSoft that let me do it for free, and as often as I wanted. That was using Word within Office, but are you sure it can't be done?
Anyway, try what Timur says. It's probably faster and easier.
@Woollcott,
You can use Kernel for Word To PDF conversion tool for converting your single or multiple word files to pdf file in single conversion cycle.
@Woollcott,
When I go to "Save As" in Word, there is an option box that says "Save as type:" where I can select PDF. Maybe your version is older than mine.
Save your Word document as an .htm or .html file and then open that file with Chrome or Firefox. "Print" the file to .pdf.
Thanks, everyone. I am "computer illiterate," and yet I was able to understand and investigate each (and I do intend to go to a copy center). I deeply appreciate every answer, I really do. I am surprised that I was able to do what was suggested. Thanks again!
