CLAIM:
"Had I known that the enemy was going to use airplanes to strike America, to attack us, I would have used every resource, every asset, every power of this government to protect the American people.''
- President Bush, 3/25/04 [Source]
FACT:
On August 6, 2001, President Bush personally "received a one-and-a-half page briefing advising him that Osama bin Laden was capable of a major strike against the US, and that the plot could include the hijacking of an American airplane."
- Dateline NBC, 9/10/02
FACT:
U.S. and Italian officials were warned in July 2001 that Islamic terrorists had considered "crashing an airliner into the Genoa summit of industrialized nations."
- LA Times, 9/27/01 [Source]
FACT:
A 1999 report prepared by the Library of Congress for the National Intelligence Council "warned that Osama bin Laden's terrorists could hijack an airliner and fly it into government buildings like the Pentagon." The report specifically said, "Suicide bomber(s) belonging to al-Qaida's Martyrdom Battalion could crash-land an aircraft packed with high explosivesÂ…into the Pentagon, the headquarters of the CIA, or the White House."
- CBS News, 5/17/02 [Source]
So what are you trying to say?
So you are claiming that Bush lied then?
The facts speak for themselves.
If you have trouble with the big words, let me know.
No, I want to say that you think Bush lied.
You don't always get everything you 'want' in life.
That reality comes with maturity.
Then your post has no point and becomes meaningless propaganda. Which has become typical of many of your posts.
"Then your post has no point and becomes meaningless propaganda." McGentrix
ROFLMAO!!!
Then why are you replying? Must have something to do with being an unemployed system administrator.
And, Home Depot turned ya' down too! :-)
*sigh* See what I mean? You are more than willing to spout propaganda, but when cornered to give YOUR opinion, you refuse because you lack the courage of your convictions and resort to these infantile ad hominems.
I think I am done with you on this topic until you actualy have the balls to back up your statements.
McTrixster:
You want some whine with that cheese? LOL!!!!
When your testes descend, let me know.
You know what they say, McTrixster: negative attention is better than no attention at all.

And so the president should have shut down the airlines for 6 months to 2 years because of one of hundreds of indicators of possible terrorist activity ?
The date on your last shows 1999 before President Bush was even President (So I suppose he should have ordered the Armed Forces to escort all aircraft down to airports with his power as Governor)
The government gets too many indicators each day showing
possible attacks, if it reacted to each of them, NOTHING WOULD GET DONE in this country as we would be too paralyzed to move.
