@RexRed,
I got a new Colt m1911A1 for Christmas, along with a box of shells for it.
Since I got it for Christmas, does that mean I am treating it like a toy?

@mysteryman,
It just means you have seemingly lost the spirit of giving and peace on Earth associated with such an occasion as Christmas.

You're the one who has to live with yourself...

@OmSigDAVID,
My parents were ethically minded and did not take to poisoning the minds of their children with the trappings of war and hatred.

My mother worked as a volunteer ambulance attendant picking the pieces up and mending broken lives shattered by such folly as you ascribe to.

I was there at that (shown) moment.
He did not say that.
Your post is in fraud and deception; true liberalism.

@OmSigDAVID,
He might just as well have said it...

I wonder if, were he alive today, would he feel even the slightest bit of remorse considering the monster he helped unleash with his Gung-ho gun strategy...

Your basic slime bags...
Those are the basic and fundamental American principles of personal freedom.
Thay existed, in principle, (NRA and Republican gun enablers, including me)
long before Charlton Heston existed.

At the Foundation of the Republic, a FREE COUNTRY was created,
by crippling domestic jurisdiction of government, in the Bill of Rights.
(What u call "slime bags".) Liberals have done their best to subvert, corrupt,
and destroy personal freedom, by deception, pretending that American is not free
and that government HAS the fony, fake jurisdiction
the hoax of authority to interfere in personal defense.

That is what he and I have been fighting against; successfully.
We defeat tyranny; obama was pretty mad the last time we beat him in the Senate.

OK; now that u have identified what u have in mind,
I feel comfortable in relating his state of mind as evinced in his speech
to the NRA (in my presence). His sentiment was that we have been successful, but that
there remains some work to be done in COMPLETELY removing any vestige of gun control
so that the Constitutional Right of "EQUAL protection of the laws"
shall apply to end and fully annihilate any vestige (however slight) of gun control,
of un-Constitutional discrimination in anyone possessing defensive guns,
thus RESTORING the status quo ante as of around 1910 (the only exceptions being
convicted criminals in prisons and persons confined in hospitals for the mentally sick and diseased).

How about passing out some canons and rpg's to kids?

You are naive and ignorant.

No, Rex; I remain dis-satisfied that the victims were NOT better armed
in their own defense and NOT better trained and drilled
in defensive battle tactics in public school. Too frequently,
the juvenile victims were in FULL COMPLIANCE with ALL gun control laws.

The penalty for that is death, with no appeal.

I 'd have been A LOT more content IF the juvenile victims
had successfully brought MORE power to bear upon the predators
than the predators brought to bear upon their young victims,
KNOWing that every predatory event is a contest of power.
The most powerful participant survives.

Gun control protects the evil predators (human or not).

GUN CONTROL IS EVIL.
Gun control kills innocent victims.

Liberalism is evil.

And how do you arm a 3 year old swimming in a public pool?

Once again, ignorant...

OK, I admit that that is not likely to work.
Maybe his parents can be sufficiently well armed and defending him.
I don t believe that 3 year olds can defend themselves.

Yes; of billions and trillions of things.
Are u "ignorant", Rex ??

@OmSigDAVID,
I am sure I am ignorant of many things but I don't allow fanaticism over firearms to blind me to the harm they are causing the innocent.

You are the one talking about lifting ALL restrictions. I am not talking about taking away ALL guns... YES, YOU ARE IGNORANT.
