Im am a student of Industrial Design and I am going to design a product for home cleaning (as a diploma thesis project). This Product is gong to be oriented to solve problems tha people face, when getting older, and cleaning their homes.
So I would appreciate if you could tell me everyday problems, that you face while cleaning your home, especially if you have experiances with your parents or granparents, or even if you are an older adult.

Design something that does not make floors slick while drying. Falls are a HUGE problem for the elderly.

I would have to agree with jespah on this one, many people who are getting older are at a higher risk of falling. I have seen people die after they have fallen and hit their heads or broke their hips. If you could design this that would be great.

I'd suggest instead of trying to solve all of the problems that people face, you focus on one thing. No product can do everything.
There are robots to vacuum (Roomba) and scrub floors, dishwashers to do the dishes, toilet inserts to clean the toilet; machines to do our clothes washing and drying... What's left?
How about making the bed? That or a bed that doesn't need to be "made."
Well, I hope you can achieve your goal.
Can you also want to work on Aerobic septic system parts?
Most of the people are facing the issue of the septic tank. You may do your project based on this.
