I'm enrolling in a technical college in the summer. I am trying to decided between LPN (nurse) or Electrician. Which do you think earns more and which has the better demand for workers?

why are those two things your only criteria?

I'm with osso on this one. Nursing is a healing profession, and can be very rewarding, but also very upsetting (not to mention physically demanding). Both can be dangerous, too.

Having fun with family and friends, but thats what my days off are for. I just need a career that will provide me a reasonalble salary and plenty of work opportunities. I m tired of being laid off and having huge financial problems.

Since you don't seem to particularly care about helping the ill, I vote you work with electricity.

Electrician but I think nurse will get some honor too.
