I think you were right not to mention a business while you were still involved, even though it was not the type of thing that would benefit from online advertising, anyway.

I think we could have done a website back then but we didn't get around to it. We were well regarded in our area and that kept us busy enough.
I could argue with all that now, certainly. (Someone called us the best gallery between SF and Vancouver. I've never been to Vancouver, but I'll take that point.)

And to the point, if we had one, I wouldn't have promo'd it on a2k.

Now people can put a link in their profile.

But that is mild in contrast to the daily spam blastathons.

Some of the stuff I see at 3:00 a.m. could have been produced by a random word generator.

Oh, and plenty of brick and mortar galleries have benefited by having websites - that is the type of thing that can benefit.
