Sort of Fading Away

Hey Regulars (or those who notice if I'm here or not),
I recently realized I haven't stopped in here for awhile and I wanted to say it's nothing personal. I've been really busy and therefore not tempted to hit the bookmark and blow off some time. I'm certainly not saying good-bye, but I admit the bombardment of vulgar topics, teenage angst dramas, hit & run spammers and garden variety wackos have dulled my enthusiasm for this place, despite being able to thumb them into collapse. I guess I miss the days when this place was my version of the bar Cheers!, despite not many of you knowing my real name. Recently I popped in and didn't recognize a single poster other than Tsar, DJ, and Osso - as opposed to knowing almost everyone at any given moment. I've been here for about a decade and don't regret a minute of it (okay maybe a few minutes of it), and I expect to pop in now and then, but I didn't want to just disappear for a long time like so many others without a word. I worried about some of those people, some of them I still worry about. So it's not goodbye, just ta ta for now.
