The Incredibly Simple A2K NFL Superbowl Game For 2013.

It's when the defense calls a time out just before the kicker attempts to kick a field goal. The idea being that kickers are mental cases (used to be talked about all the time, you don't here that much any more) and that disrupting their focus would have an impact on their ability to make the kick.

In this case it backfired completely.

Yeah...They actually showed once that the chances of them missing the first time is higher than the second...like 53%-47% Cause guys give off a free kick to see the way the wind blows and such...And adjust...And it makes sense...And your right mate...It did backfire...Cause he missed that first one...And was able to adjust...

I have tweaked the scoring each year. My goal has been to keep more players "in the hunt" for an extra week or so. This year was perhaps the most extreme I have been with the 4-point bonus for correctly picking the four wild card games. Four players got the bonus; it could have much higher.
By my calculation, but I am not sure, it might have been possible for a player to win this game without correctly guessing the Superbowl winner!
Whether such an outcome would be desirable is another matter.

I think you are correct RJB...Because McG...Can beat me getting the Superbowl pick wrong...And I being correct...But McG being closer in the final score...But I think that would only be if the Superbowl is worth 6...

One thing you could do...That should help eliminate that for next year....Is to double the score, after this week...for the SB...So you make it worth 8...And not 6...

so...1, 2, 4, 8...

I think it is cool to give bonus points for a perfect WC week...

But another thing that could help is to give people 2 extra points...

If NWE and GB were going for it...There would be about a 6 person race...because CowDoc, took GB...And a lot of others took NWE...

If a big favorite gets knocked out early...Then in theory many will be knocked out...Or have a very small chance to win...

And this is good because it means you have many participating...

The only way to make it very close all the way to the end...With many...Would be 1 point for every pick...And then like 4 or 5 for the Superbowl....And then plus or minus one...For being off for final score...
