@brittany1235,
You can send an email or a phone call. Don't frame it as "reconsideration", which would imply that you were rejected. Instead, frame it as a scheduling issue, e. g. "I know with the holidays, people may have been distracted and so I was not contacted as I was expecting. Could you please let me know the status of my application?"
And leave it at that. Give it another 2 weeks and then move on if you haven't heard anything. I would say, in the interim, look for other work. This kind of a delay does not always mean a rejection, although it seems to most of the time. Recognize that sometimes a budget is lost at the last minute, or a company is too disorganized to close the loop, or they were suddenly contacted by some beloved former employee who wants their old job back.
Note - I am assuming a holiday because of the US but if you're not in the US, instead of framing it as a holiday rush you could just say add the word "upcoming" (e. g. upcoming holidays), for Xmas is coming even if you're in a country that doesn't have a November Thanksgiving holiday.
And hang in there. A lot of employers have, sad to say, become horrible about follow up, even if you met them! Truth be told, it's rude and inconsiderate, but unfortunately it is something that we, as job seekers, need to become inured to.
