Just had a Death Comes For The Archbishop, after watching it being dunk on Blandings. Gin, Brandy, Sherry, Port, Pudding Wine and a liberal amount of bitters.
That's the recipe as given, I'll let you devise your own measures, I did.

Will robot bartenders have that willing ear to listen to his/her patrons lament their daily woes?
Well when i am in the mood i can drink anything that comes into my hand
So? If someone handed you a beer mug half filled with 5 year old kangaroo piss, 1/4 filled hydrochloric acid, 1/4 filled 5 year old koala bear piss and topped off with a tab of LSD, you'd drink that, right?

Experimented with a glass of half cranberry juice and Shiraz red wine tonight. Not an invention according to Google but very pleasant.
Gin is quite hip right now. I've seen quite a few pubs advertising their gin selections recently. Prior to that the only other spirit I've seen advertised is single malt whisky.
My first gin and tonic was at a restaurant at Wilshire and Westwood.
The problem was that we didn't have much money, and some of our cost and tip was paid in pennies.
