Bit of contention on GM. Let the fact checkers get to work! See! Romney is making jobs!

Romney hits back with facts... uh oh. Looking Obama in the eye with the facts too. That's gotta sting.

Romney still winning this question.

@McGentrix,
Disagree, Romney was really rambling and just trying to throw in as many talking points as he could. And he didn't really answer the question.

Ugh. Obama still blaming Bush. Obama closing statement: Romney = Bush. Laying out a plan for next 4 years that he hasn't implemented the previous 4 years. It's tough on the incumbent because he has had 4 years to do stuff already and when he hasn't it's hard to believe he will.

Romney - Economy proper hits on Obama. Promises 4 years of something different. Jobs, good. Good summation.

Now to answer back and argue about for 2 weeks...

2 parts to his answer. Drones and what else we aren't doing about it. Brought up a good point about we can't just kill the bad guys.

Romney's standard closing--- I will work across the aisle because because I don't have convictions.

I expect many may disagree with my view. I guess that would explain the thumbs down on my own thread... But, that doesn't change my perspective. I wanted to keep notes on a public venue for perusal later.

Or, because he can. Everyone knows the Congressional Dems have no backbone. Bush proved that time and again. So, Romney should be able to shoulder through and get **** done.

@McGentrix,
the thumbs down were from waterboy for ignoring him.

he's real big on thumbing down all his opponents, real and imagined...

for what it's worth, I put you back up again.

Moi aussi. I don't like seeing someone voted down on their own thread.

@McGentrix,
Or because I flip-flop all over the place. Tonight Romney pretty much said that his policy would be the same as Obama.

IMHO If the debate went on much longer Romney would have endorsed Obama.

Do you? I should pay more attention.

You should try to stick to your beliefs more. Like Romney does...

@McGentrix,
The second point is moot since Romney agreed with drones and said we should continue to use them.

He virtually agree with all of Obama's foreign policies and said he would continue them.

lousy summation for a foreign policy debate

I can't believe the moderator let both of them get away with so much domestic discussion in the freaking policy debate

so disappointing

@ehBeth,
Not only that but so far all of his domestic policies don't add up.

@McGentrix,
Absolutely.

That's why some posters have commented over the months and years that there isn't enough difference between the U.S.' two right-of-centre main parties.

Romney only lost two debates, so he won "debate season."
