Some of it interesting but some of it looks stamped out . I see that many times where CGI techniques are used, without an art editors guidance, the work actually looks "stiff" because the artists still haven't learned how to blend many colors to create an atmosphere. Many times the "layers" are built on entirely different color bases and the foregrounds and backgrounds don't knit together well.
Some of the work is actually reminiscent of the flat looking stuff of the 40's.
Fantasy and SCifi art is loaded with hacks who phone it in. There are relativeky few masters
