ANYONE KNOW HOW TO UPLOAD A PHOTO? The only thing I know about this painting is it was purchased in Californiamany years ago. There is no signature however the back is board w no writing, but looks like it may have had a label at one time. Any information would be valuable to us. Thanks

@Vgsands,
You're welcome, you can always bookmark this thread and check back every now and then, you never know who may come along with an answer.
It looks like some pretty good amateur did a nice job copying a landscape.

@Joe Nation,
As they would say in the art biz: "From the Studio of Bob Ross". Meaning a student of his.
He's the guy. He had a 30 minute show on public access awhile back that was just him showing how to paint.
Two camera, one wide shot of him, the easel and his palette, the other a moving close-up of the work or him mixing paint or dabbing his brush or pallet knife onto the canvas.
He'd start with a blank canvas and talk his way through an entire painting in 30 minutes. It was mesmerizing. He had this soft low calm voice and, if you didn't fall asleep, you kept watching as he seemed to pluck pine trees out of the air.
One minute the "lake" would just be a flat blue part and the next he would be cutting in the reflections of the trees and the mountain.
IT WAS NOT GREAT ART, but it was great local access TV.
There must be Youtube videos.
