I asked recently how one inserts into A2k threads and was told it is quite simple well if it was that simple wouldn't have posed the question in the first place.Was told to search the A2k forums so went to computers and after searching dozens of threads couldn't find anything appro to this subject so Dutchy a little help in the right direction would be appreciated.Unfortunately I didn't grow up with computers but came into it at a late stage of life so I need a little help now and again.You can't teach an old dog new tricks is appropriate in my case.Have very much appreciated the help from A2k contributers in the past and hope to keep this going.THANKS philcottie.
I was confused too. What do you mean "insert" ? What are you inserting? You've participated on various threads over 600 times according to your profile?
hit reply, under the blue reply to laughoutlood there is a green BBCode Editor line, open it
to insert a quote from another entry here or website elsewhere you may wish to click on quote
then place the copied text in between like this
Quote:
You can't teach an old dog new tricks is appropriate in my case.Have
or just copy and paste it without acknowledging the quote
use [img][/img] is you want to copy a picture from here or from another site
right click on the picture then click on properties in the resulting drop down box, in properties, highlight, rightclick, copy, hit ok, click between the[img][/img] to get
to insert a website address just copy and paste it
and position the copied url between the url brackets
use quote and change it to read youtube (both sides)
copy and paste the video by right click on video then click on "copy video url" then paste between the youtube brackets you created
and don't forget to wait until dutchy confirms the answers

@edgarblythe,
I was referring to a thread in Trivia and word games/lovatts but because I am computer illiterate was almost impossible for me to comprehend so think I will forget the whole thing,thanks to those who did try to help but at 85 is beyond me and will have to try to not be so ambitious.philcottie
