You are as sharp as a glass shard, sglass, and that is why I find you so endearing.

I know I have the reputation of being a real cup-up.

Now I'm going back to Roxxxanne's thread and pick on the picker heads.

Sorry, snood, I am out of control right now. You just happened to walk in the path of my rifle.

I mean you no harm.

A position in your administration would placate me.

Oh, sorry - it's all the politics in my head....

Stand back everyone, only I can stand in gus's sights and dodge the bullets.

Run while I distract him

Well another year has rolled around and today SeaGlass is 28 years sober . Merry Andrew took me to a 8 am AA meeting and I received my 28 year medallion. Then we went and had breakfast at the Coconut Grill. Tonight we are going to the cafeteria at the Kileau Military Camp and have corn beef and cabbage and listen to some Irish music.

So if an Irishman can get sober on St. Paddy's Day, so can anyone.

@Sglass,
28 years of a day at a time is absolutely not to be sneezed at, Seaglass! That is a fantastic achievement!
Go on you! Very Happy

@Sglass,
Wow Seaglass - this is terrific news. I'm glad to hear that you did some special things to celebrate your day! On my last AA birthday I was just a wee 25 years sober, but I didn't do anything special to remember my day. I believe this year I shall definetely plan to make a more memorable occasion of it. So, many congratulations on your AA birthday. Isn't it wonderful to be able to enjoy a "normal" life after all?
