Meets in Austin and Houston in December

I hate that I am at home and missed this.

It isnt the flu which Im happy for. I dont have a fever or feel sick really. I just get weak , dizzy and sick every time I eat something. Im so hungry I feel faint most of the time. I hope it goes away soon.

But.. its almost 6. Someone should post something soon!

Yeah, I feel bad first that you have this and then that you couldn't go.
This time I really wish I could have hopped a plane as I already know some (all? I think maybe all) of the people in person. But even if I had the moolah, I wouldn't leave Katy dog, so, no go.

CI is on his way to Austin and PDiddie has gone home. I too have gone home. We made up a group of seven. I made a boo boo going there and was late. We ate and then went to the museum. It was a quiet meeting. I saw that P and C are as good in person as on the internet.

I was able to put a video clip (very short) of PDiddie and CI on facebook, but I have not been able to figure how to put it here.

On our way back t0 Austin, our son suggested we go to San Antonio's River
Walk for dinner, so that's what we did. We ate at a Italian restaurant where I had the muscles cooked in garlic and oil with a small dinner salad. It was good.

San Antonio was crowded with thousands of people, and parking was difficult to find. We eventually parked about four blocks away and found parking for $10. It was the first time I was able to take a picture of the Alamo at night, so I hope it came out okay.

Our son said he's sleeping in this morning, so we're just waiting for him to call. He's going to research the web to see what activities are going on in Austin. We'll give our son a day off tomorrow, before we head home on Tuesday.

My friend, Connie, joined us for lunch at Kim Son; I've known her for many years because she travels in the same group with House of Travel. I was able to bring a picture of her that was taken in Bali many years ago.

I'll post some pictures when we get home, but after Wednesday, because we get in very late on Tuesday.

While back in Austin, I purchased a book on the Medici's, "THE HOUSE OF MEDICI, ITS RISE AND FALL." We also saw the Maya exhibit, but photos were not allowed.
