@spendius,
I'm sympathetic to walmart greeters, me, my first one today, about the fifth time I've been there. I famously to myself fought and won against walmart going to a primo property, with my allies, me among many, but I go there now in my new city, money, honey. Some people there can be a little odd, but I could be taken as odd.

However, I would be very surprised to somehow find that ragman is class oriented. Not the guy I know.

@ossobuco,
Well osso--he showed his true colours with that jibe. Goodstyle.

You won't find anything like that in any of my posts.

I'm still smarting over the Chargers-Chiefs game. I picked San Diego
to win but picked Kansas City to keep the difference under 9 points.

But in a stunning display of ineptitude, KC lost 31-13. Two of SD's
touchdowns were scored by the Charger D! The fans are restless out
on the prairie. The Chiefs haven't had a lead for even a single second
of regulation time this season. Their only win was the result of a
field goal in overtime.

Argh.

@George,
always take the spread against the chefs...

I was forced to listen to that game while prepping a bug, G.

to make things worse, the defender that took back the interception for a TD was a former chief...

go Dolphins.

I just about the QB Michael Vick - Coach Andy Reid thing in Philly. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.

@Ragman,
It was just a story on Yahoo Sports that I saw this afternoon. Rhys had alluded in his email to me earlier in the week about tension on the Eagles team, but I was unaware of the details.
If someone could post it...

@realjohnboy,
I read the Wiki entry on Mr Vick. Blimey!! How does he concentrate with a life like that.

When he was a kid his mother had two jobs. Possibly grocery packing.

@realjohnboy,
I thought that I heard that he's going to play and Reid will stick with him. Let me poke around. I think I heard some of the Eagles teammates grumbling.

On a whole different matter, I didn't know the extent of the personal tradegy in Reid's family life. I knew about the death of his oldest son.

"In January 2007, Reid's two oldest sons, Garrett and Britt, were involved in two separate, serious automobile incidents on the same day, and subsequently had a number of charges filed against them, including assault and drug possession. His oldest son, Garrett, was found dead August 5, 2012, in his room at training camp at Lehigh University from an accidental heroin overdose."

@spendius,
I very much doubt that any English professional sport's outfit would have a player on their books who has a record like Mr Vick's.

That's right ... only choir boys permitted in the EPL.

@Ticomaya,
Read the Wiki Tico. Torturing dogs isn't tough.

Make yourself popular with dog lovers.

We are sure getting a few of our players exposed.

Don't bring Mr Vick to Wembley. The stadium will be empty.

I don't need to read the Wiki, I'm well-aware of Vick's past. He served his time in prison for his part in the offenses, and by the accounts I'm aware of, he's turned a corner in his life. Evidently he is not entitled to a second chance?

I don't care.

But I also don't believe you. If Mr. Vick played footie for Chelsea, Wembley would be full.

@Ticomaya,
There's no chance of Mr Vick playing for Chelsea. Once the public knew what he has been involved in.

Anybody can be contrite after being caught.

You do need to read Wiki. Otherwise you are heading towards making a complete idiot of yourself.

@Ticomaya,
It's too disgusting Tico. I wouldn't besmirch the thread with it.

And I have never had a dog. What dog lovers think about it I can only guess.
