I was questioned for a poll yesterday by a reputable surveying company that contacts me on a variety of subjects. I was annoyed by the lack of intelligence regarding many of questions asked because of the limited assumptions on which they were based. For example, are you a Democrat or a Republican. Whoa, I replied, what about some of the other mainstream party affiliations, such as Libertarians and Greens? Many other questions had such limited options that I wanted to reply none of the above. Why do pollsters make such limited assumptions? I assume its because they are contracted by either Republicans and Democrats. But what about all those independents out there?
One question stood out above all the others: "Do you think Osuma bin Laden already is in US custody? I thought this was amazing to appear in a poll.
My reaction was that if I wanted to let my conspiracy theory thoughts run wild, I would answer yes. But I gave George Bush the benefit of a doubt and replied no---but I'm really suspicious that Karl Rove is in charge of the bin laden search.

Perhaps they're wondering if Americans know the difference between Saddam and Osama.

At least they didn't ask
Do you know where Osama bin Laden hangs out these days?
perhaps the should, nothing else seems to work.
Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they already have him.
I think we should start taking bets on when Osama will be "captured".
I'll take mid-October.
