@aidan,
When Florida passed the no open alcohol containers in cars the police seems to be very eager to write tickets under that law.

My friend and fellow ultralight pilot was a complete non-drinker but he would used an insulated wrap around container to keep his coke cans cold that happen to have some beer brand letterings on it.

Base on this insulated container in his car cup holder with a beer adv on it he was stop by eager cops any numbers of times when the law was new.

He would let them go through a speach about the law no longer allowing him to have an open beer container in his car.

It was highly amusing for him to see the looks of disappointed on the cops faces when he would then pulled a coke can not a beer can from the insulation.

Only if you keep posting about it on the internet.

Chalk it up to experience and move on. Learn from it.
No one got hurt. A cheap, valuable lesson.

@aidan,
I 'd be afraid of that government;
stopped for going within the speed limit. That 's a good one.

Don't they drag the motorist out of the car, spread-eagle them, put the cuffs on and cart them off to the slammer?

It is unusual to see a lady leaning forward in the driving seat peering through bottle-bottomed glasses and peedling along at 5 o'clock in the morning. They possibly thought she was in a distressed condition.

Didn't you wave us all goodbye for a week earlier today Dave?

Well, good luck convincing the Judge of your thoughts on that issue.

How fast were you going? We don't have the autobahns here!

@Ticomaya,
I don't know: it has been in a village, 35 miles sign, bends - it don't think that I really was faster ...

I attend many conventions, of groups to which I belong, Spendius.
I 'm leaving for one of them in a few minutes
(delayed from yesterday, when police closed the roads).

How about fun on a quiet night? Like with the IMF chief,

It's pretty good closing the roads too.

@BillRM,
Wow, that was eye opening.

Fifth amendment would be the last thing that I'll probably think of when being confronted by a police officer.

@aspvenom,
Slightly OT, but was wondering if you ever saw that experiment where the guy adds a few drops of snake venom to human blood and shares the results...it's a little gross, but I think of it everytime I see your user name lol. (Not saying you're gross, just the results of the experiment) Smile
