I'm sure you've heard the one about the rabbit and the bear...
Is that last little face expressing contrition for the naked aggression, the unabashed Id-ness of the other six?
No - it is expressing a worldly, rueful, ironic, slightly melancholy but compassionate tolerance for your predictability!
teeheee
Hey PD, you very far from Palmer?
On my visit to Costco yesterday, I bought two bags of bagels for $3.49, and lox schmeer for $3.99. Been enjoying them for the past two days; cutting them in half, and cutting the half into half, toast, then spread the lox schmeer. It's really good!
c.i.
Arnie? Dunno. Where's the PGA Senior tour at now?
(About an hour. Don't think I've been there, though. Generally go north when I leave the city, and there haven't been many opportunities for that lately...)
Palmer?
Lox schmeer? I cannot even mention what that sounds as though it is!!!!
Then don't mention it. ;-) (Predictable -- lemme guess: if I say something about rabbit stew here, the AK is coming out, right?)
c.i. -- They sell the vacuum packed lox-by-the-pound at Costco down there? Great stuff for the money...
Just wondered, PD--i've some friends who live there, but, as driving to and from Ohio is a bit of an epic journey, we've not seen one another for years . . . I'd like to see the Matanuska valley some day, but doubt i ever will . . .
Palmer, Alyeska, lil' weeLowan bunny . . .
p.d, Yes, it's a double tub pack (small butter size), all for $3.99. It's a great deal! c.i.
c.i. -- No, I'm not talking shmear, I'm talking actual lox. Up here you can get a prepackaged pound or so of decent (not great) lox. A whole nice pink smoked fish. Mmmmmmmm....
setanta -- you got me confused, señor. Are you talking about the Township of Palmer in the County of Washington in the State of Ohio? 'Cuz I'm in the City of Seattle in the State of Washington, where there is also a City of Palmer, not all that far away...
Yes, that's what I said.
The rabbit seems a trifle scattered today, does she not? If anybody down there in Oz (Adelaide, is it? Or was it Canberra?) sees a 5'7" bunny hopping disoriented through the streets like Martin Lawrence during an "episode," please approach her quietly and take her to a nice café for a cup of soothing chamomile tea, reassure her that she's perfectly safe and should stay put until she comes down.
Then go and light a fire in the stove. We're having stew for dinner...
i am soooooooo ignoring you...
I'm sorry.
The Canberra thing was insulting, right?
That was part of it, yes.
Yes, Costco also carries lox. I've never bought lox, but my wife has bought salmon. c.i.
I'm confoozled now!
Whatza lox??? Or is that Whooza lox?
In Oz, lox is things wot keep doors shut!
Fish - some kinda fish...
