Is it safe to decorate rooms with wallpapers?

Get a scraper and a spray bottle of water.

Spray on the wallpaper to get the glue loosened. Hot water works well but you might warp the plastic in the spray bottle. Then scrape away (it's very satisfying work, actually). Repeat until the wallpaper is gone.

Then just prime and paint as usual.

Yeah, I agree with you. The wallpaper will be much environmental friendly to your house and protect your health. But you need to pay attention to do the protection against the tide.
