@EqualityFLSTPete,
Don't get me wrong, he's a nice guy. A good person too.
It's like if someone doesn't program something into his app, it would never occur to him to do it on his own.
I was sitting at the dining room table, taking some pictures for ebay, and I saw him bring out the lawn mower. Like us, he doesn't have a lawn, as far a grass, just what is on the swale. We both have all garden.
He fires up the mower, mows the 20 or so paces, and stops exactly where the property line is, inside of walking 15 more seconds and finishing off ours as well.
Not that I expect it, but jeez.
To give a little background, in my neighborhood people are always just doing little somethings because "I was doing ours anyway."
On Tuesdays, whoever gets out of the house first, my Wally, or our neighbor Bill, they take the garbage, recyling down to the street. Same way with whoever gets home first. If someone's bougainvellia looks thirsty, I turn the hose on it.
I don't think he has the capicity for that type of thinking. I know he wasn't raised that way, since we're friends with his parents.
<shrugs> He can just be kinda odd.
Could be a lot worse. I just found it amusing watching him mow for like 20 seconds.
