In a fun way off course.

I made mention of a name that I tend to read differently, won't say who cause someone else can Smile Made me smile when I thought how I could read my own name.

FOUND SOUL - Found Salt.

Wish to continue, please go ahead.

@FOUND SOUL,
Yeah, I was originally Merry Andrew. When the hamsters got uppity and wouldn't let me in under that name any more (don't ask -- too complex a story) I decided to simply Germanize it and to become Lustig Andrei which, as Osso has pointed out, is a fairly literal translation. Interesting part is that Dutchy is quite right in making the connection with "lusty." Our word "lusty" in the English language comes directly from the German "lustig." The meanings have been somewhat altered but the etymology is the same.

But, now, FOUND SOUL... I keep reading it as FOUND SOLE. Something fishy about that, though.

@Lustig Andrei,
Wellll, Dutchy was calling "himself" lusty not you Smile Now what? haha.

Mmmm...

Here is one for you Lustwig.. ( I wrote that once and went shirt, and quickly deleted it ) Smile If we took my real name, "Kelly" and used your thoughts on sole, fishy, smelly. I think you would really be onto something...........

Roger, pfttttttt Smile

The honestly only think I ever thought with you was Roger, over and out and I was new and boy did you worry me if I offended you Smile

I could go on with say, Firefly? I know she would be fine with it..

Fiery fly ...

It's mean't to be fun... after all..............

@OmSigDAVID,
Osso is right the German word lustig is merry. A postive word.
The Swedish word lustig means amusing, funny or comical. Can have a negativ touch.

@FOUND SOUL,
For some reason I always think Soul Food when I see the name Found Soul.

OmSigDavid is just hard to adjust on. My brain goes Om Sog... I remember the David part (it is my center name after all). I have no idea why I turn the sig to a sog.

Several user names can throw me at first and I have to take a second or third look. I figure the names mean something to the member so I attempt to get them right.
