Group A: Russia, Great Britain (United Kingdom)
Group B: France, Italy, Japan
Group C: Brazil, Kenya, Jamaica, New Zealand, Poland
Group D: Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, Greece, Iran, Switzerland (c'mon Federer!)

Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to work on an elegant scoring solution. However, if you have a spreadsheet you could upload it as a Google Doc. You can make it editable for a select few, and read-only for everyone else. That way, we can view the results without having to bug anyone.

Then only the medal counts need to be kept up-to-date.

I've passed along my spreadsheet from 2010 to realjohnboy for him to use as a template for this year. I could post that spreadsheet as a Google doc, but it would make more sense for realjohnboy to do so, since his spreadsheet will be updated to reflect the 2012 country groupings and this year's entrants.

I should have told you about the trick Set and I used when the laptop keyboard gave up the ghost, 1 key at a time.

We cut and paste the letters we wanted (from other posts) onto a word doc we kept open. We then pasted them into posts as we went. It was a bit awkward, but we made it through til I got a replacement external keyboard.
