Thanks for the correction, wheel and markr. I had moved a Germany gold one line down in my spreadsheet to Great Britain. The error has been corrected.
In other news, Jahiegel has cut my lead to ten with Italy's bronze in men's volleyball.
A Kazakhstan bronze in men's 66kg wrestling has brought Jahiegel within nine of the lead.
A South Korean silver in 60kg boxing has put me up by 12. Two Kazakhs and one Italian are yet to box in their finals, and Italy is in the men's water polo final. Meanwhile, a Czech and an Italian are among the top three in men's mountain biking, and Italy is currently in second in rhythmic gymnastics. Modern pentathlon is the only other event that could impact the race for gold, and it's too early to tell anything there.
Also, Uzbekistan will be wrestling for a bronze in a few minutes.
A Kazakh gold in 69kg boxing pulls Jahiegel within 7, and gives him a de facto 2 point lead.
Uzbekistan loses its bronze medal wrestling match, so no change.
Lots of developments in the last few minutes. Czech Republic takes mountain biking gold, with Italy taking bronze. Kazakhstan takes silver in 81kg boxing. Italy takes bronze in rhythmic gymnastics. At the moment, my lead over Jahiegel is seven points, with an Italian boxer and the Italian water polo team still guaranteed at least silver for Jaheigel. The only other potential change in the standings could come from the modern pentathlon, where a Czech is in 13th place and an Italian is in 20th after two events.
Italy gets a silver in +91kg boxing, bringing Jahiegel to within four points of me. Unless modern pentathlon affects the outcome, which doesn't look likely at this point, then a win for Italy in the water polo final will mean gold for Jahiegel, while a win for Croatia will mean gold for me.

Unsullied is only two points out of bronze, but will need a gold or silver from Japan in the modern pentathlon to take it from fbaezer.
It looks like fbaezer has wrapped up the bronze, as Japan is too far back in modern pentathlon to make up the ground needed to medal.
Things are getting very interesting in the race for gold, as we see whether Jahiegel can make up a four point deficit. In water polo, Croatia has a one goal lead over Italy at halftime, determining whether Italy gets three or five points for Jahiegel. In modern pentathlon, Italy and Czech Republic are eighth and tenth, with a 0:30 and 0:35 handicap in the final combined event. I have no idea whether this puts them in range for medal contention. However, if there's a tie between me and Jahiegel, Jahiegel would win on the tiebreaker.

My apologies to fbaezer for getting his hopes up. Unsullied took bronze based on Croatia's appearance (and victory over Italy) in the men's water polo final. Unless I made a math error (which is quite possible), Czech mountain biker Jaroslav Kuhaly is my team's MVP, pulling off a narrow victory for gold today.
