Looks like a lot of folks have picked Kazakhstan in Group D. Is there a way to edit your original posting to clarify that it's in Group C?
Here is what you need to do to participate in our game. The deadline is Tuesday, July 24.
Choose 2 teams from Group A: Australia, China-Men, China-Women, Germany, Russia, United Kingdom, United States-Men; United States-Women.
Now choose 3 teams from Group B: Belarus, Canada, Cuba, France, Hungary,
Italy, Japan, Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Ukraine.
And then choose 5 teams from Group C: Argentina, Brazil, Czech Republic,
Denmark, Georgia, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Kenya, New Zealand, North Korea,
Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey.
Finally, choose 5 teams from the rest of the countries of the world. There are too many to list. If you google 2008 Summer Olympics Medal Count you can see all of the countries that won medals the last time. Choose any 5 but they can not be those listed in Groups A, B or C.

We are now 28 days from the start of Olympic competition. Eight players have joined thus far and trolling for additional players will begin in earnest shortly.
I have set up my score sheets and they are quite pretty if I do say so myself.
Five of the eight of us choose Russia in Group A; seven of us pick Japan in Group B while 7 of us have Jamaica on our list in Group C.
21 teams get votes in Group D with Switzerland and Azerbajan garnering 5 votes each.
I'm definitely interested in joining this year. Back in 2004, ESPN had a Fantasy Olympics game, which was great, but they haven't had it since. In 2008, I used your country groups to setup something on flooza.com (a create-your-own fantasy site), but sadly, this site is now defunct. Flooza was great -- once you setup everything, all you had to do was enter the medal tallies for each day, and it did the rest.
Is anyone able to find a site like this? If so, it would make the admin tasks much easier.
That being said, I'll like get (at least) 4 of us to join. I'll send this site to them, and we'll likely join in the next week or two.
