Members of Americans Elect could not agree on a candidate to run for the presidency. The move is ended until next election year, I assume. On another front, Roseanne Barr is attempting to gain the nomination for the Green Party. - I guess there will be no viable third party this year.

At the least, Ed, it's likely she's not a flip flopper.

@JTT,
Even if she became the flawless candidate, she would not get over 1% of the vote.

@edgarblythe,
We can use a good comedian as our president; all the other candidates have failed to bring this country back to democracy of decades past.

WTF, Roger.

At least she is honest.

@edgarblythe,
Edgar - I'm sorry, but what did you expect? Did you expect to get your ideal candidate on the ballot from this process?

@failures art,
I'm pretty certain that after Ronnie's mess, no more second rate washed up actors need apply for the oval orifice...

@failures art,
I did not expect anything. I followed the process from the beginning, watching to see if a viable platform could evolve and a trustworthy candidate chosen. If the result had been worthy enough, I would have been in to the end. As it turned out, the website they ran was not particularly helpful to the process.

Yup, ya never wanna underestimate the intelligence of the US electorate, Rocky. After Ronnie, they elected his vp war criminal and then a fifth rate, washed up businessman with the intelligence of a gnat.
