while it's true I have heard this type of remark previously, tonight listening to Condi Rice on Lehrer News Hour made the remark that nations that refuse to abide by "international rules" should be treated as "outlaw nations." It occurs to this naive mind that the US as a major manufacturer/seller of bio/chemical/nuclear weapons as well as utilizing "pre-emptive" war/agression against independent nations fits quite easily into the label of being in violation of "international rules" (thus far "international rules" being left undefined. Actually many on the right side of the aisle deny any such critter as "international rules." I admittedly am weak in the area of logic however this seemingly blatent contradiction has me more than just a tad confused, not unlike "Bush-Republican," does that make Pakistan "in-law" while leaving Iran "out-law?" and where do we put France and China not to mention Merry Olde England?
I especially liked how she conveniently negelected to mention that Musharref doesn't hold much real power in Pakistan anymore.
As an aside, how are you feeling, Dys?
The Golden Rule of Politics. Whoever's got the gold, makes the rules.
Dys...Reads like you are back up to what is called normal. Great
when the Doc told Diane I would be back to normal in a few months she said "well, I have never known Dys to be normal, but it should prove interesting"
How come you are still so ugly?
Joe
I have long ago despaired of discovering any logic to America's politics.
