What is 4x-Bread?
Was it a brand of bread during the old days in Canada?

google it. you'll get a series of pictures, including some of the side of a building in Vancouver, BC, Canada, with a recently discovered ad painted on the wall, found under newly removed siding. apparently a 1920s era bread there. IE gets seriously unhappy when I try to copy the image to post here. You may have to do it yourself. "Shelly's 4X Bread"

X=ten in Roman numerals, so 4X=$40, the start-up capital he had to get his bakery off the ground. Damn, ain't the internet a great idea.
