I have always used the title of a former judge, president, governor, and so forth. This morning I read in the news that Former Representative Jerrerson has his appeal for his conviction rejected.
When does a Representative become a former Representative or a President a former President?
@patrickt,
when they are no longer president, representative, etc
@djjd62,
And until they die.
Then they go back to being referred to as "President Lyndon B. Johnson" etc.

@Joe Nation,
ah, i never really thought about that
@djjd62,
Heh.
I was hoping this was going to be a thread with Harry debating Harry about whether or not to drop the bomb.
That would be fun.
President Harry in office argues for it (since he did it) and Former President Harry argues (in hindsight) whether it was worth it.
~
Then they argue about Korea and General MacArthur.

@Joe Nation,
Whatever you think of Harry, he had balls!
@RABEL222,
I ♥ Harry!
