the new leader of the NDP in Canada was a former member of the Liberal Party of Canada, the now leader of the Liberal Party of Canada was a former member of the NDP (Provincial)
but take heart Canada, things are not completely out of control, the Conservative Party of Canada is still being run by an asshole (and being supported by many more)

I know, it's strange - it's almost like the Libs and NDP are interchangeable. Remember when Mike Harcourt (previously a liberal) ran the Provincial NDP party? And Gordon Campbell always seemed more of a Conservative to me.
