Don't forget to change your clocks this Sunday, 3/11/12, and set it back, not forward.

@farmerman,
Good thing I have computers that do all this for me automatically now. So I can go along blithely unaware and just assume the sun jumped to a different position in the sky. Smile

"This Sunday" is the 3rd of November? Are you sure? (Is this guy crazy?) Just like every year, I'll be changing my clock at 01:00 GMT on the last Sunday in March (25/3/2012), and I'll be advancing it to read 2:00.

@contrex,
Hahaha! Obviously you're not in the U.S.! Here, 3/11/12 is March 11, 2012. We write it month/day/year...not day/month/year.

I know that. I was hinting that the US is not "everywhere". The rest of the world does not write its dates like the US, nor do we change to summer time on the same day as the US. However, the original poster didn't seem to think that mattered.

@contrex,
OK. But that makes me wonder...is the U.S. the only country that writes dates this way?

No, they write them that way in Belize and some parts of Canada.

@contrex,
So are you saying that when Americans say no more 9/11s, they're not talking about the Berlin Wall coming down?

All that Contrexxx is ever saying in a context such as this is that he despises the United States and all things American. It's the only reason he posted to this thread.

The only reason the Great Jerkwad posted to this thread was to slag me off, but then consistency is not something that prats value, or even understand. I don't despise all Americans, just SetantAss, who is a stupid, arrogant, mouthy, ill-begotten great long streak of piss. I am mildly ticked off by people on the web who appear to to think that the world outside the USA doesn't really matter or need mentioning.

Here in Arizona (which is in the US) we do not change our clocks at all (to "summer time" or any other time). But you did not acknowledge that in your post. How thoughtless of you.
