@chai2,
As of right now, I am totally exhausted. I have done four washes already, and haven't even started on the dusting and vacuuming. I expect to be in bed as early as possible, so I can be first at the super market at 8am tomorrow morning.

@chai2,
I hope to stay in bed longer - it all depends on the dog though, if he recognizes
winter time or not (probably not).

I most certainly won't stay up an extra hour, actually I am worn out already
from taking down the Halloween decoration and driving the kid around to
birthday parties. I should take a nap....

We're having the first rainstorm after a very dry couple of years so I'll probably have a fire in the fireplace, light some candles and curl up under a blanket and just enjoy the sounds of rain.

@Reyn,
My dogs ignore time. They get up when they have to poop.

@Reyn,
Our dog didn't either, Reyn *sigh*

Buttrflynt, down here it looks gray and rainy too! After a long period of hot
and dry weather, I am longing for some rain, and I hope it does rain!

You want rain? We've got deluge, with plenty to spare here on the west coast.

@Reyn,
We had a full 24 hours of constant moderate rain here in the Sacramento area. It was wonderful! The plants on my balcony think it is Spring again and look like they might set buds for another bloom cycle.

One thing I did notice, with a digital converter box and rabbit ears, TV reception really reduces to nothing in a storm. We had a high wind storm a week ago and I lost most of the reception before removing the digital converter. This weekend all we had was overcast skies and rain, no high winds and the digital reception was again reduced to none and I had to remove the converter box connection.

The country's local news stations and emergency planning folks need to resolve this problem before they cut us off of analog reception. They'll be leaving millions of folks without a source for news updates and evacuation notifications for storm warnings and floods.
