Actually, it's no different on a tree farm than anyplace else when you work with the public.
Speaking of Tree Farms, we picked up our tree from one today. It's run by a guy my husband went to high school with. He, in turn, grew up on a chicken farm (all this is on Long Island, mind you). When he got married and bought a home, his Dad gave him several hundred evergreen seedlings to start his Christmas Tree Farm. Thus far, the proceeds have paid for the college educations of his 4 children. And, he only has to deal with the public for a few weeks a year (the rest of the time he's an engineer).
