No-one in England talks like that. I'd been watching Family Guy for a year before I realised it was meant to be an English accent, and that's because Stewie said it was. I always thought he was from Massachussets or somewhere like that.
I hate to deny the well intentioned compliment that I sound like Harrison Ford. I actually sound like George Armstrong HAyes. I shall try to find an exampe of his speech pattern.
Spendi, to me , sounds like the late Dr Norm Crosby with a bit of an Southend accent.
When it's an episode where they're playing other characters. The one that springs to mind is the episode with the Mutton Chop Murderer, where Lisa and Bart were supposed to be English. Lisa's is a lot worse than Bart's btw. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treehouse_of_Horror_XV

Aaaahhh.....I see. They've tried to do Australian accents too....I just thought it was funny.
