How do you show that you have “arrived” in supervision? What does the supervisee need to do, or say to show this?

Fire some body... Unless you can hire and fire you are just a no-body with a bigger paycheck, and hopefully they are paying you more if being a world class ass is required...

If you fire some one because the place has more dead wood than a ball bat factory, then don't bother firing an idiot or a lazy ass... Fire the best guy you got... First of all, he will get a new job tomorrow; but firing some one who deserves it just makes everyone feel secure... If you fire the best, it will plumb up everyone, and you will be sending the message that all the work done by the able body must be done, and will be expected done by all the human garbage you still have on the payroll...
