When to use which?
Yeah yeah, whenever and wherever.
Seriously, which is (more) correct? "I can be reached anytime at xxx-xxxx"
or
"I can be reached (at) any time at xxx-xxxx"
@chai2,
Last I looked, there is no word alright, it is always all right. Well, that was a while ago and usugehaschanged. I figurethesame for anytime.
@chai2,
Anytime = whenever; at any time.
Any time = modifies 'time'.
I won't have any time today, but we can meet anytime tomorrow.
@CalamityJane,
Thanks cj.
"anytime" just seems so casual to me <shrugs>
ok, I changed my cover letter.
@chai2,
I think there is a distinction, and am not in the mood to explore that. Hasta manana.
@ossobuco,
Well, hey, whomever you are mailing is no more up on this than the rest of us.
