@ehBeth,
ooooh yehhhh .Thats my favorite, and theyve got a "low fat" version which is baked(stay away from that one, the chips taste like salty charcoal briquettes). Then the kettle cooked ones are in a mixture which contains some lard (I know, lard not good for our health, but the russets get a fine fine flavor and crispiness).

@farmerman,
Keep the kettle corn - we've already got more than we need. Bring the russet chips - not the low fat ones - no nonononono no

@farmerman,
Haven't seen those here in years. They were quite the thing in the 1990's. I'd try them again ... but russet chips! esp if they're just the tiniest bit overcooked

Yeah, it reached freezing early this morning . . . but that's not the important news.

The reefer sellers ran out of weed yesterday! One guy in New-fun-land who had a ten thousand dollar (wholesale) supply sold out before close of business yesterday. This will be a windfall for all of those in the illegal market who still had some stock on hand. Apparently, the legit supply network is not nearly up to speed.

Kettle-cooked russet potato chips? Who can say.

@farmerman,
it is ridonculous - 35 F right now - it will be 54 tomorrow

on cost, the general view on the shows I listened to yesterday was that while there would be a run on the official shops/online initially, people would go back to their long-term dealers within a month or so as the prices can't be matched (and dealers don't charge double tax)

According to the Statistics Canada, on average, the price of pot on the black market was around $6.83 per gram.

@farmerman,
everybody will be going from Ontario to Quebec. the Quebec price includes taxes - Ontario will have close to 20% in taxes added. It'll be like the old days when everyone went to Quebec from Ontario to buy

@ehBeth,
I don't understand the price differentials. What makes it double the cost when you cross from Yukon to Northwest? Are hydroponics more expensive?
