@OmSigDAVID,
St. Pete is 100+ miles or 1:45 hour drive approx . from Orlando, FL. Stating the obvious, FL is a huge state.

The functioning of our justice system should not be in secret...it should practice transparancy but does not, a point that I have made before.

And, as before, you are wrong in claiming that the judicial system functions in secret. Swift's court hearings have all been held in an open public courtroom.

@firefly,
And yet Pete indicates through his choice of words that what will happen next Monday will be a secret.......

@hawkeye10,
Pete simply indicated that news spreads in the community, he wasn't saying the court hearing would be secret. It is on the court calender for the 30th--as I previously posted in this thread. There is nothing secret about it.

It is highly doubtful thaat Pete used the word "secret" by mistake...word choice matters, and you don't have the right to ignore his choice of words until and unless he tells you that he screwwed up his attempt at communication.

@hawkeye10,
Swift's court hearing on the 30th is definitely not secret. I posted about it earlier in this thread and I also reported some of what took place at his earlier hearings. The information is available, there is nothing secret about it.

@firefly,
That’s true! I heard Thom goes to court on Monday, haven’t talked to many lately about Thom’s legal troubles. After some of the posts on here he’s been very careful whom he talks to. Probably a good thing. I’m sure though I’ll get a text message Monday evening.

Nothing, what we are talking about here is Firefly's habit of redefining words to her liking, in this case in order to pretend that someone said something other than what they clearly said. She and you do not have the right to ignore what the speaker is clearly attempting to say. Now if Pete wants to come around and say that he picked his words poorly then we can revisit the issue.
