The humidity was high where we came from but interestingly, tolerable in a good way. Helped that there was a lap pool at the back door maybe Smile

Von, we may not get to America next year now, one because we are saving for a slice of land over there and a small business Greek Restaurant/Thai and 2, with Kia stressing as she did, we can't afford to go away for a period of time whilst she is with us, only 5 days max... It will happen though..... eventually.........

I want to share with you a photo of my darling Harvey who died in January. I've wanted to post a photograph of him since I first started posting on this thread in January, but despite Foundy telling me about Photobucket, it was beyond me - until a few days ago when FBM took me through the process, step by painful step! Here he is - miss him so much still!

Lovely photograph of you darling Harvey, I know what it is like to lose such a faithful friend, we had Samoyeds for over 25 years and it were always sad days when we lost one. Will try to dig up a photo and post it here.

Please do - I'd love to see photos. We've always had Labrador Retrievers, but I know Samoyeds quite well. They are a lovely breed - my late brother-in-law had one called Vulcan, a beautiful dog.

Makes me want to know find one of Missy, who also died in January, (1)... They are our world for so long..

Do please post a photograph of Missy on First Word - and the rest of your animals - always good to see photos of people's pets.

Just waiting until I get some decent photographs before I put any more on Photobucket - all my dog photos are a couple of years old, and taken with my last camera - the camera I have now is far better, I think.

Sad a 4 year old girl died from swallowing a battery, the battery set up a current in the body and poison and eats through where it sits, the parents didn't know she swallowed it, this was from a mobile phone ...

You can bet ya, I will when I get time... Dreamt of her a week or so ago... Little MISS.

We don't have a very long summer here, so we take advantage of every ray of sunshine - every second of extra daylight - not a lot of time to study computers or computing - but will learn more eventually! Tennis is taking all my free time this week - love Wimbledon!

We have shorter summers but still, we have spring and autumn, longer winters so I can definitely understand that, in fact in my Summer, I am rarely on the computer, opting to sit outside and take it all in Wink

Wimbledon is on TV all day here, my wife is a great tennis fan and watches the games when ever she can. Disappointed with the Aussie performers of which there are none left. I watched my favourite girl, Serena Williams, being beaten last night which was disappointing! Tipping a Djokovic - Murray final with the latter good enough to win. He has improved his game dramatically in the last 18 months. Are you a fan of his Vonny?
