Hi Spades, I found this site through Dutchy. I'm still fairly new to computers, but when I started using the crossword site, he often helped solve problematic clues for me - for which I'm truly grateful! One day he mentioned First Word and the Yabber-Line - took me a while to pluck up courage to do more than look, but am now glad I did.

I'm originally from the North East part of the UK, but been in the South for many years now, about 30 minutes from London. Married, no children, one remaining dog. Love dogs, love books, love gardening, love crosswords, love sunshine - of which there is a distinct lack in the UK at the moment!

Dutchy is a great guy! I do not do the crosswords or Sudoku's myself...But I do venture to try to solve some riddles and conundrums at times....

I mostly post about Religion...I am a Christian...But am probably unlike another other one...I see things very differently...And would say I have a spiritual gift....And sports...Because those are my passions in life....I love almost every sport...And am very active with the Major ones in the USA...

Sometimes, I will play along with some of the word game threads...

You see the random image you have generated? And how we have images we want to put up there? Like Miller has the American Flag...And I have a picture of Jesus up there? It is called your gravitar...And if you would ever like to put your own picture up...I will help you with that also....but you lose the generated image...It is linked to another site...and I think you can store 5 pictures on one email....And if you link an email...I think it lets you add 2 more...

I think yours is neat looking...and I did like mine also...It was forest green with what looked like a cross in the middle...Which is my favorite color....

Dutchy is a dear, dear friend of mine, we both live in Adelaide, Australia though we met through A2K.. He gave me so much curry He is ill at the moment about to have another heart operation, but he will be back to first word he can't help himself but to give me curry

My Lab loved to run - a friend said he's at the Rainbow Bridge now, playing with all his old pals who went there before him, running without the arthritic pain that befell him as he aged. I'm an old cynic - but for his sake I'd like to think it's true! Who knows?

Must be great to be thinking of watering the garden. Our garden is like a ghost town at the moment, all the plants are wearing green or white fleeces - wrapped up better than I am! -2 degrees here at noon today - and getting a lot worse overnight if forecasts are to be believed. And heavy snow on Friday - great for children, snowmen and sledges, but not for me any more. Too darned cold!
