In this modern age can we do without big government? What about global government?

What are the pros and cons? Could we have been better prepared for Katrina?

The IRS needs to be revamped, not the 9 9 9 stupidity. All the banks should be controlled by congress rather than congress being controlled by banks.

That would be all well and good if most of Congress was not oblivious on how the economy and banks work.
