Happy Hanukkah. Antonio watched tonight as I lit the menorah. I hadn’t done that in over five years. He really doesn’t understand it and is asking a hundred questions as usual. This might take a while.
I have very mixed emotions. I always expect the pain this time of the year but when the feeling comes I just let them. I have two wonderful people in my life now. So tonight we made a toast and lit a candle in remembrance. Everything is good.
I wish I could have met Morgan’s parents. I’ve only seen photos. I have no doubt they were wonderful people. His mom was a very pretty lady and Morgan looks just like his dad.
Morgan, now that you've had a little practice, here's something to shoot for next year. This is the way they do it down the road a bit in Ft. Lauderdale. As David Bowie once said, "Too much is never enough." Merry Christmas to all three of you.

So tomorrow is Christmas Eve. We will be visiting aunt Isabel in Tampa then when we get home I promised Antonio we will make Christmas cookies and homemade fudge and after he goes to bed Santa will be visiting his house.
It is also the 2Oth Anniversary of FREEDOM from communism.
The USSR went out of business as of Christmas Day of 1991,
marking the end of the Third World War.

If u want, u can shoot off a gun or something, in commemoration, but don 't point it toward anyone that u like.
Since we're in Potsdam/Berlin for two weeks on vacation, we've visited a couple of Christmas markets here ... and noticed a stall (in Berlin) with special "Weihnukka" ornaments, traditional German-Jewish "Weihnukka-food" ...
Indeed, my bad. That's how it's called in American English now. (I was looking at an older translation from German to English - it's known here since more than 145 years.)
