Faaaaaalllling......
A zoom from a full earth view to a building on the ground in cambridge, mass. Can you see me waving? It takes a while to load (even with Cable), but the second run is smooooth.

For some really great pix of distant objects, you should check out the Hubble Heritage site.[/b] Be warned though, the images are HUGE. Here's a "small" one:

You can download these to use as wallpaper or screen saver images.

Anther great site. remember when they first tried the Hubble and the lens didn't work right, about ten years ago now I guess. That was one of the most disappointing times in my life I was so looking forward to seeing further.

I have many of these JUST LOVE THEM so, I put them all into my screen saver

Had a job once where we did stuff for Hubble, did stuff for the repairs too....it was a bit frightening...glad it works!
