@GracieGirl,
Today im having the most fun I've ever had at school. Everyones in a crazy costume (even the teachers!!), there's tons of candy! We're trick or treating through the school hallways starting at 12, supposedly. We're not doing any work in the class I'm in now (watching a movie 'sleepy hallows', it sorta sucks but it's better than work) and it's just super awesome!!

My cousins are over at my house so my dad might make me go trick or treating with them (blah! Sad ) but Im going to a Halloween party tonight either way. The party starts at 9 and my dad wants me home by 11:30. So my dads gonna be AWESOME!!

I love Halloween! Even though too much of the candy can make me sick (LOL)!

What are you guys doing today? And seriously, where's my candy guys? Razz Very Happy

I ate it all. Had to make sure it was safe....

can I interest you in packets of plain oatmeal or plain cream of wheat? How about a can of pears or beets?

Happy Halloween Gracie.

@Sturgis,
If nobody wants it, I'll take the cans of beets. Especially if they're pickled! Razz

@GracieGirl,
I figured to unload the oatmeal and cream of wheat on you...why would I want to suffer through eating them? The pears and beets were meant as treats, the pears are even in a pull-tab top can.

Ewww! Yuck tsarstepan!

Hey, how do you pronounce your name?
Whenever I read it, it comes out like : tee sar te pan. Is that right? How'd you come up with that name? Epic.

Whats borscht?

And of course you'd give me the gross stuff while you hog all the candy!
Beets and pears are suppose to be treats?! Yuck! I don't eat either of those.

Hand over the Skittles dude! Haha!

It's a weird Russianesque name. The T and s make a Z sound for whatever weird reason: [zahr-step-an]

Stepan is the russified version of Stephen. With all of its egotistical regallia, I'm Tsar Stephen. Tsar being the 19th century version of a Russian king. The name came from my days as a history major at Framingham State College and my all time favorite college course, Russian history with Dr. Nicholas Racheotes.

Borscht is a soup, a delicious soup, made with beets, onion, beef, maybe some carrots and potato if you have them about, some cabbage, some dill and when served hot, you can put on top a few spoonfuls of sour cream and eat with several slices of dark bread...pumpernickel will do if that's all you got.

Don't get the cheap imitation stuff in a jar, (though that can work as a base), better you get in the kitchen and make your own. It's a Ukrainian and Polish happiness borscht is. Very Happy

Besides, with borscht, and then a white shirt, you spill some, it makes a great Halloween outfit if you have an axe or machete in your hand along with a crazed look in the eyes. (make sure the blade on the machete or axe has been dulled so nobody gets hurt).

@Setanta,
He is misleading you, Gracie, don't fall for it! Borscht is the tastiest soup what ever has existed...when made right. Why it's so good they even named a belt after it in the Catskill Mountains. Look up Borscht Belt if you don't believe it.

@GracieGirl,
Christmas, Gracie . . . here, read this. When you get to that page, click on the book cover, and it will take you to the story. Probably the most famous Christmas story in the English language.
