41% voter turnout

a minority government

a waterhead PC leader who's likely to do everything he can to pull the plug on this thing

congrats to Andrea, but please next time, take a few more from Hudak and a few less from Dalton

King Dalton I

We all know what this means. Soon he'll declare a state of emergency and suspend future elections. The OPP will take over the courts. Kindergarten children will be taught homosexual erotic technique. God-fearing, decent white people will be forced to be nice to colored people. Cats and dogs will be forced to live together. This is just the beginning.

@dlowan,
the parliament

the PC leader would have to get every NDP vote* to bring the government down on a vote of no confidence, and i can't see that happening but i'm sure he'll be thinking about it everyday

* LIBS 53, PC 37, NDP 17

Good going Andrea.

I did what I could (voted).

My riding stayed NDP.

I kinda like the results - though I would have preferred more on the NDP side and less on the PC. Minority governments are my general preference.

@ehBeth,
our riding went NDP (the guy tried federally and lost, switched to provincial and won), the riding had been held by LIB Bruce Crozier before his retirement (and sudden death 2 days later)

the PC guy came in second (lost by about 1300 votes) and he never showed up to any of the all candidates meeting (including 2 televised and one organized by a local high school who held a mock election)

@dlowan,
ostensibly it's Progressive Conservative, but in my lifetime they seem to have become less progressive, they mostly refer to themselves as the Conservative party these days
