Hello,

And without wishing to seem like I know anything, what is it that makes you think you do know??? I am not trying to be rude, and perhaps because it is so natural to me, but have been reading a little about Kant and Fichte and their ideas on the basis of knowledge apart from metaphysics... You may as well say that you know from experience or not at all, or that things exist because you know them, or they do not exist at all...Or perhaps, even when looking directly at things we see no more than their shadows.. It is just a question... Nothing to get exited about...

@Richard Nash,
Welcome to the writing/participating side of things. Hope to read more from you now that you've entered the fray.

As for cooperation, et al?

Let me paraphrase one Googled company's legal disclaimer:

As with any forum, your results may vary, and will be based on your individual capacity, expertise, and level of desire. There are no guarantees concerning the level of success you may experience here at a2k.

Please, let's not make any assumptions.

There are many times that I do not post for a whole variety of reasons.

I am not certain that a strog ego goes with a thick skin... If you are really strong, you have to dare life to do its worst, drop the guard, be sensitive to ones emotions and to others, and be understanding... And if you are understanding of your own nature and the nature of all people there is a lot that others with less strength of ego will find offense in and become defensive over that will be like rain off a duck's back... I have worked in the past, and know a few people with thick skulls and thin skins and can agree that is about the worst of situations... I would not recommend a thick skin to any one open to the possibility of personal growth... It can simply be too restrictive and too impossible to shed... When we think we are done becoming and are ready just to be, we are not ready to be, but already dead in spirit...
