Using a gun in a pressurized cabin is pretty close to the exact definition of stupid. There are probably a lot of things that could have been done to lessen the tragedy, but arming passengers ain't one of 'em, and using these victims to tout your own personal agenda is making me rather nauseous.
Jespah, please note that the passengers on United Airlines Flight 93 armed themselves
as well as thay
POSSIBLY coud (i.e., with a food cart)
and used it to attack the Moslems.
I 'm pretty sure that thay 'd have preferred some better armament.
This was American History and the
fair subject matter of comment.
Additionally, the de-pressurization argument has no factual merit.
That, by itself, woud not have significantly harmed the plane.
The scene in
"Goldfinger" was only
fiction for a movie.
